Community


L&T Removals LTD are committed to working in partnership with local charities and foodbanks within the London Area.


During the 2020 Pandemic of Covid-19 our business donated our fleet of vehicles and manpower to various good causes throughout the region of London. We ensured vital resources were delivered to vulnerable residents throughout the community. Further to this, L&T Removals worked in conjunction with Stay Safe East Domestic Abuse Charity to deliver all of their office equipment to their staff when working from home, ensuring this vital service could continue to operate.


L&T Removals donated a storage unit monthly to local charity ‘Street Angels’. Street Angels provides monthly outreaches to the homeless community in central London. L&T donated their storage space to store donations and food, and a van once a month to transport all of the goods to Central London, which enables this crucial outreach to take place.

Environment


We are committed to minimising the environmental impact of our operations and we take all necessary steps to comply with environmental legislation and standards.

With every move, we do everything possible to minimise environmental impact.

  • We promote recycling or re-use of packing materials.

  • We dispose of unusable waste in a safe manner that minimises any long-term environmental impact.

  • All cardboard we use is biodegradable. All polystyrene packaging we use is also biodegradable.

  • We ensure all company vehicles are designed and maintained to give the maximum fuel efficiency and minimum emissions.

  • We plan routes and vehicle loads to maximise efficiency and minimise the impact on the environment.

  • Our employees, suppliers and contractors work with us to prevent pollution and minimise the impact on the environment.

  • We recycle our office waste and turn off our computers at night to minimise our electricity consumption.

 

Workplace Health & Safety


We are committed to the health, safety and welfare of our staff. We also ensure that, as far as possible, third parties are not exposed to risks to their health and safety when they use our company or the products it uses.

L&T Removals provide the highest possible quality of service to its customers and the company holds accreditation in Europe’s highest removals standards.

We pride ourselves on providing a first-class service for our customers, from our initial contact, packing and storage, to shipping, to the vehicles we use to transport your possessions.

After every removal, we ask our customers to rate their experience of L&T Removals’ service, to help us improve our services further.
 

We use several quality management systems to set and maintain the highest standards. As part of our quality programme, our quality management systems are externally assessed by the third-party authority and ultimately certified to demonstrate that we abide by industry best practice. We are fully insured at no additional cost to you as the customer, giving you further piece of mind. We also hold full public liability insurance.

Staff

We recognise the crucial role our staff play in the success of our company. We aim to attract, develop and retain the best people available and all staff are trained to the highest standards. We pay our staff above the living wage and employ within the local community and neighbouring boroughs.
